Elden Ring expansion DLC introduces several new weapon types, including the Light Greatsword. This sword type is perfect for Tarnisheds who like the reach of Greatwords but can’t stand the windups. It has cool and very “knight-like” attack animations to boot, perfect for the game’s medieval settings. Interestingly, The Light Greatsword Milady is one of the earliest DLC weapons you can easily get in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.
Where to Locate the Milady Light Greatsword in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
The Milady Elden Ring Light Greatsword is found in one of Castle Ensis’s towers. The Castle can be easily reached even if you just started the DLC:
- Enter the DLC’s Land of Shadow.
- From the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace, follow the road north.
- Reach Run-Down Traveller’s Rest and cross the Ellac Greatbridge.
- You should find the Castle Front Site of Grace. This is the entrance to Castle Ensis.
Now that you’ve reached the fortress, it’s time to locate the specific spot where the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Light Greatsword lies. Head northeast and cross the castle’s bridge then run past, or defeat, a Giant Knight guarding the area. Take the staircase to your left and follow the path until you reach a chasm.
Take a left again and climb the wooden stairs to the roof. A shielded enemy and a dog will be blocking your path, defeat them then quickly turn to your right. You should see a wooden ladder leading up to a tower across the bonfire. Climb it and on top, you will find the Milady, one of the Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree Light Greatswords, inside a chest.
Milady Light Greatsword Stats
Like other Elden Ring Light Greatswords, this weapon combines the agility of smaller Swords such as Straight and Thrusting with the reach of a Greatsword. Because of that, it scales with Strength and Dexterity and requires you to have 12 Strength and 17 Dexterity to be able to wield it.
The Milady shares the Impaling Thrust skill with several other weapons like Rapier, Estoc, Cross-Naginata, and Short Spear; costing 9 FP per use. It can be imbued with an Ash of War and upgraded using Smithing Stones. Below are the stats and attributes of the Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree Milady Light Greatsword:
