This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

The broken, wooden benches at the Chocobo Stops scattered all over the world are most likely uncomfortable. I mean, before Cloud swooped in and fixed each location, who knows how long they’ve been sitting there unused? There are probably tons of frayed wooden pieces that could give you a splinter in the one place you don’t want it. Fortunately, you can grab some cushions in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and use them to make sure you have a comfortable sit.

You can get more cushions at any Vending Machine for between 100 – 250 gil in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. You can find these vending machines all over the world, but more commonly, just before large boss fights. Realistically, you aren’t always going to be l0oking for cushions just before a boss fight. I went to the Gold Saucer Battle Square to the Vending Machine located to the right of the counter where you can enter to play in the Musclehead Colosseum.

In my experience, the price of the cushion could drop or rise at any time. It depends on both where you’re buying the cushion as well as what sort of discounts that Vending Machine has going on. It’s worth mentioning that you can only hold a maximum of 99 cushions at a time. Because they’re so cheap, I tend to have the full amount in my inventory and only stock up after realizing that I hadn’t in a while. You can then use the cushions to rest at any Chocobo Stop you like.

To break things down:

  • Head over to a Vending Machine.
    • The Gold Saucer’s was the most convenient for me.
  • Check the price of the cushions they have in stock.
  • Stock up on as many cushions as you can!
