For as long as Call of Duty has been around, the M4 has been one of the most beloved Assault Rifles in the franchise, and with Warzone 2.0‘s release, M4 fans can now get their hands on a new Weapon Blueprint for their favorite AR — Mortal Bane. This cosmetic weapon skin features a stylishly tactical look for the M4, with medallion-coated plating and multiple apertures and slits throughout the rifle to let the desert sands freely flow through. While it does not offer any advantages for gameplay, the Mortal Bane perfectly matches the sandy environment and desert-ruin atmosphere of maps like Al Mazrah.

Unlocking the Mortal’s Bane Weapon Blueprint in Warzone 2
To unlock the Mortal’s Bane Weapon Blueprint for the M4 Assault Rifle, players will need to gain access to the Victory Sector in Warzone 2.0‘s Battle Pass Area of Operations. The Victory Sector and its rewards only become accessible once players have successfully cleared every Sector on the map of the Battle Pass.
Simply put, the Mortal’s Bane Weapon Blueprint in Warzone 2.0 serves as one of the ultimate prizes for those who have managed to progress through the entire pass. The Olympus King Operator is the HVT of the Victory Sector, and Mortal’s Bane is one of the minor items of the same reward pack. Of course, this fact does not demean the value of this M4’s Weapon Blueprint, but instead, it means that players can opt to unlock it first before moving on to the other three prizes in the Victory Sector. On the other hand, the Olympus King is only available once all four rewards, including Mortal’s Bane, have been unlocked.
Sectors are unlocked using Battle Token Tier Skips, a currency rewarded to players for participating in competitive matches and other game modes in Warzone 2.0. Those who perform well will naturally earn these Tier Skips faster than others, enabling them to become the first group to acquire the Mortal’s Bane. Of course, such an endeavor entails some substantial grinding and a massive time sink. However, if players consistently play the game every day, they should eventually be able to unlock Mortal’s Bane in Warzone 2.0.
