How To Get Nitain Extract in Warframe (The Fast Way)

Uh oh, it’s that crafting component again.

Nitain Extract in Warframe is one of the most crucial components in crafting warframes and weapons. This special microorganism vial is an all-too-common requirement for most new Warframes. It’s also one of the rarest, and unlike other materials or components, Nitain Extract has more limited farming locations (if you can even call them that). Thankfully, we’re here to guide you on how to get Nitain Extract in Warframe fast.

Where to Get Nitain Extract?

You can consider the following locations or methods in obtaining Nitain Extract; all of them have varying drop chances and require different amounts of effort:

  • Nightwave Offerings (guaranteed, but you need to buy them)
  • Cetus Bounty during a Ghoul Purge event (reward chance ranges from 3.57-4.72 percent)
  • Resource Cache Rotation C rewards in Reactor Sabotage and Exterminate missions (reward chance ranges from 0.67-2 percent)
  • Gift from the Lotus alert (depending on the whims of the developers)

There are a couple of other sources, but the drop chances are so measly you’re better off ignoring them.

The Fast Way to Get Nitain Extract in Warframe

Based on the Nitain Extract locations above, your best and fastest option would be none other than Nora’s Nightwave Offerings. Her Nitain Extract stocks are always available and won’t disappear (unless Nightwave is on a short downtime between intervals).

The catch is that you need Nora’s Cred currency to purchase the Nitain Extract. Nora sells Nitain Extract in batches of five with each batch costing 15 Creds. It comes down to three Creds per Nitain Extract, though you can’t buy them that way.

Of course, if you want to earn the Creds needed for Nitain Extract, you will need to finish Nora’s Nightwave objectives. Each has varying difficulty, and we recommend taking on the most rewarding ones (9,000 points) or the medium-difficulty ones (4,500 points).

Progressing your Nightwave battle pass will reward you with Creds that you can use to purchase Nitain Extract. You will need to keep in mind the reward on the track. The Creds appear on the battle pass track every three to five reward intervals, so it’s still a relatively long process of farming Creds for Nitain Extract in Warframe.

Your Best Bet is to Farm for Creds in Advance

Turns out the fastest way to get Nitain Extract in Warframe is to farm for Nightwave Creds in advance. This way, you’ll always have Nitain Extract on demand. Well, as long as you have Creds, that is.

With that said, the very first reward track of a Nightwave Act is typically 150 Creds. That should translate to 50 Nitain Extracts, assuming you don’t need or want anything else in the Nightwave Offerings.
