Getting the No Life Rod is a massive undertaking in Roblox Fisch. You’ll be spending hours and hours grinding. Some might even say you have to “no-life” the game, which is a pretty accurate statement. It is worth the effort, though. The No Life Rod is among the best fishing rods in Roblox Fisch. It’s also one of the easier endgame fishing rods to get, but the process takes a very long time.
How to Get the No Life Rod in Roblox Fisch
You know all those levels you gain in Roblox Fisch? Have you ever stopped to wonder the point of leveling up? Sure, there are some boats to unlock and NPCs like Merlin won’t speak to you until you’ve reached level 30. Well, your level matters to the No Life Rod.
To get the No Life Rod, you need to be level 500. That’s it! There are no puzzles to complete, like you do with the Heaven’s Rod, or rare items to find. It’s just you, the ocean, and grinding 23,750,000 XP to reach level 500, which at that point the No Life Rod is added to your inventory.
That said, it’s still a tough ask. Grinding nearly 24 million experience is no small feat. It’s not enough to find a quiet spot to fish. You need a strategy.
Roblox Fisch: Best Way to Grind XP For the No Life Rod

There are a handful of fish that grant thousands of XP, like Colossal Squid and Spectral Serpents, but this grind focuses on Captain’s Goldfish. You get 2800 XP per fish, and although Spectral Serpents give you 3500 XP, Captain’s Goldfish are much easier to catch.
- Go to the Forsaken Shores, to the little pond further up the path.
- Bring with you a fishing rod that has high luck, control, and low Max Kg. Even the Flimsy Rod will work.
- Enchant your fishing rod with Clever or Insight (Clever is better).
- Truffle Worms are recommend as bait, but not needed.
- Merlin’s Luck Boost is also recommend, but again, not needed.
With a Clever enchant, a single Captain’s Goldfish would net you 6300 XP per catch. That’s 3770 goldfish from level 1 to level 500. It’s a lot, but without the enchantment it’s 8483 Captain’s Goldfish. That’s a huge difference!
