To get Oil Jars in Tears of the Kingdom, you must head for Rito Village. You might’ve noticed that most villages have clothing and a general store; you’ll look for the latter. Once you get there, you’ll see many items like butter, wheat, arrows, and the coveted Oil Jars. Each one costs 12 Rupees, and you can buy at least 5. If you buy them all, wait until the store refreshes its stock so you can buy more. This is the best place to get Oil Jars in Tears of the Kingdom, so if you ever run short on them, fast-travel here to restock.

How To Use Oil Jars in Tears of the Kingdom

Like many other ingredients, you’ll primarily use Oil Jars in Tears of the Kingdom to cook. You’ll get more hearts when cooking by using this ingredient alongside others. This is great if you want a meal that restores a lot of HP to Link. If that is the case, here are some recipes that ought to help you:

  • Crunchy Fried Rice: 1x Meat, 1x Oil Jar, 1x Hylian Rice, and 1x Bird Egg.
