This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Death is common in Lords of the Fallen, so you should benefit from it whenever possible. Hundreds and thousands of players who first set foot in the realm of the dead or traveling through Axiom die at the hands of terrible monsters waiting around every corner. And the less noticeable and powerful the enemy, the more often the wanderers will lay their heads at his feet at the beginning of the journey. But you can take revenge on the killer to get some Plucked Eyeballs as a trophy of retribution and valuable currency in Lords of the Fallen. Although farming this currency is quite a simple process, some nuances will help you do it more efficiently.

As we said, to get Plucked Eyeballs in Lords of the Fallen, you must avenge the deaths of the players by killing the monsters that took their lives. Your goal is little lanterns surrounded by butterflies floating in different places in the game world. Interacting with the lanterns will cause an animation of the appearance of even more butterflies that will fly toward the enemy who took the playerโ€™s life. You just need to kill him, after which you will receive several Plucked Eyeballs.

These lanterns appear anywhere in the world, but mostly in places where players die most often. First, you can check the locations where you died most often. There is a high probability that other players lost their lives in the same places which will lead to lanterns spawning. On the other hand, you can visit places where the enemy is lurking around the corner. Even if you defeated this monster, others have probably died in these places more than once. If you find several places with lanterns, you should systematically visit them to get more Plucked Eyeballs.

We initially mentioned that Plucked Eyeballs are an essential currency in Lords of the Fallen, but they are even more helpful than you might think. To use Plucked Eyeballs, you must use the Umbral Lamp to travel to the Umbral Realm. Next, go to Skyrest and donate your Plucked Eyeballs to the Shrine of the Putrid Mother. Go a little to the right of the Molhu merchant, and this path will lead you to the right place.

The fact is that by donating Plucked Eyeballs, you will increase a community progress scale. The higher you climb, the more unique rewards you can receive. For example, you will have to spend a lot of effort to get Rebirth Chrysalis and Respec in Lords of the Fallen. Or you can reach level 2 of thanks in the community contributions and buy Rebirth Chrysalis for 250 Plucked Eyeballs. And this is just a part of everything you can get.

To sum it up, here is what you need to remember about Plucked Eyeballs in Lords of the Fallen:

  • Look for floating lanterns surrounded by moths and interact with them.
  • Kill the monsters that the moths led you to.
  • Once you have some Plucked Eyeballs, donate them to the Shrine of the Putrid Mother.
