Fish plays an extremely important role in V Rising and has many more benefits besides Fish Oil. This is because as you drain the blood of prisoners in your Castle, their Misery increases and their health decreases. You should use creatures such as Rat, Fat Goby, Rainbow Trout, or Sage Fish to increase the health of your prisoners and reduce their Misery level. This allows you to drain the blood of your prisoners without killing them or obtaining Blood Essence. Fishing actively all the time will start to get boring after a while. Therefore, we will discuss how you can passively fish for Sage Fish in V Rising.

Fishing all the time in V Rising can be exhausting and tiring for you. Therefore, it is vital to passively farm some key materials such as Sage Fish. You will perform this passive farm thanks to the Servants in your Castle. The more Servants you have, the more Sage Fish, Rainbow Trout, and Fat Goby you will get.

Where to Send Your Servants for V Rising Sage Fish

Mosswick Village

If your level is not too high, the best place to send your Servants for Sage Fish in V Rising is Mosswick Village. When you hover over it you will see Fresh Fish, which includes all fish. This area only requires 500 Gear Level from you. If you send a Servant with Humble Appearance to this area, it will lower the difficulty by 100.

In addition, if you send a Servant with the Dunley Farmlands Hunter perk, you will increase the amount of loot by 20%. The higher the Hunt Duration of the Servant you send, the more loot it will bring you.

Silverlight Hills

If you are strong enough, another place to send your Servants is Brighthaven Docks in Silverlight Hills. However, you should be careful when sending your Servants here because even though it looks like a single area on the map, it is actually divided into four. The part you need to choose is Brighthaven Docks on the side with the sea.

V Rising Fish Stats

Sage Fish: This fish restores between 30% and 70% of your prisoner’s health and reduces the Misery level by 15% to 30%.

Fat Goby: This fish restores 100% of your prisoner’s health.

Rainbow Trout: Rainbow Trout reduces your prisoner’s Misery level by 5% to 10%.
