The main reason that Maya came to Citadelle des Morts was to get revenge on the French Syndicate’s head, Franco. However, if you’ve followed the main quest easter eggs only, you might be missing an additional secret cutscene where Maya does get to Franco in Black Ops 6 Zombies Citadelle des Morts. It’s actually straightforward, and you’ll be rewarded with good loot upon completing it.
Citadelle des Morts Maya Secret Easter Egg Guide
So the first thing you want to do to reach the secret Citadelle des Morts easter egg cutscene in Black Ops 6 Zombies is to play as Maya and progress through the game until you reach round 12. I tried it several times and it only works on rounds 11 or 12 if you’re quick enough to do the next step.
So once you’re on round 11 or 12, head to the area where you get the swords from the knight statues, and go upstairs. On the left side of the Vulture Aid perk you’ll find a door and a radio right beside it. If the radio starts beeping, you can then press the interact button on it and Maya will start a fake conversation with Franco.
As the head of the French Syndicate, Franco is either too scared of the zombies or too dumb to believe what Maya tells him behind the radio. Now you can press the interact button on the door to get inside, but if you’re on the Vermin round, you might need to progress to the next round. That’s why it’s either round 11 or 12 depending on what time our dear Vermin zombies spawn to give us the Max Ammo we pretty much deserve.
Remember, behind this door, you’ll have to face a ton of zombies and two Doppleghasts to deal with, so make sure you’re packed with armor, Juggernog, and Speed Cola. The main challenge of this secret easter egg in Citadelle des Morts is that you have to fight in tight corridors, and the second Doppleghast that spawns is a boss fight not just an ordinary one you kill every round.
If you kill the boss then it’ll drop a key item that you must pick, and then just go all the way to the end until you meet the guy himself. The cutscene plays, and Maya Aguinaldo gets the sweet revenge she wanted so badly on the French Syndicate. Once you’re out, you’ll be rewarded with some loot and a Legendary GS45.
