In Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, players can survive on Pandora as a true Na’vi. To do this, you need to master skills such as crafting, fighting, and even cooking. The latter requires various ingredients that grow in the dense forests of Pandora. One of the most useful resources in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is Shell Fruit. But besides being difficult to find, it’s also protected by a shell. Luckily, there’s a fairly simple method that the Na’vi use to open these Fruits.

Where To Find Shell Fruit

Like most resources in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Shell Fruit grows in the forests of Pandora. To be more precise, this parasitic plant can be found almost everywhere in Kinglor Forest. They look like red-green growths on trees. You can spot them without any problems if you use your Na’vi vision.

However, if you want to get the rarer Shell Fruit, you should pay attention to the Thorny Wilds biome. It’s even easier for players to find Shell Fruit in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. In addition, in rainy weather, you have a greater chance of getting Exquisite Shell Fruit.

How To Gather Shell Fruit

It’s important to note that Shell Fruit grows on trees in relatively safe places where they cannot be reached by animals or hungry Na’vi. Therefore, often, thorny plants grow under them, which can cause a lot of damage to you if you don’t know a little trick. All you have to do is shoot this spiky plant with a bow, and it will be safe for a while. Then, jump on it and approach the Shell Fruit in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Its Shell is quite strong and holds tightly to the tree. In addition, what you really want is the juicy core hidden inside. Therefore, you need to hit the Fruit well to break the Shell. After that, just carefully gather the core of the Fruit, and you’re done. It will come in handy later for many dishes, such as Fruity Stir Fry, Fruity Egg Fry, Fruit Salad, or Crunchy Salad.
