Want to know how to get Stantler Hair in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? The world of Scarlet and Violet is full of amazing creatures you can catch for your team, but not all of them have the best skills from birth. Pokémon in the wild have average IVs and random moves, and the only thing worth paying attention to is Nature. However, you can fix it later. Visit the Hyper Training NPC, and your Pokemon increase IV, but you need TM to set up movements. And if you need to craft a couple of Normal-type TMs, you’ll probably need to get Stantler Hair in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and we’ll help you with that.

How to Get Stantler Hair in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

To get Stantler Hair in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must challenge Stantler and defeat him. It’s worth noting that you don’t have to catch Stantler to get his material. Although, we advise you to get a few Stantler in your collection. Each time you defeat or capture a Stantler, you will receive 1 to 3 Stantler Hairs, so you can stock up on as many as you need relatively quickly.

Since Stantler is a Normal-type Pokémon, you won’t need a lot of preparation for your encounter. It’s only worth mentioning that Fighting-type moves deal 2x damage to Stantler, while all other types have 1x effectiveness against this Pokémon. The exception is Ghost-type moves. These attacks will not affect Stantler, as he is immune to Ghost-type.

As for the habitats of Stantler, then everything is quite simple. Unlike most other Pokémon, Stantler doesn’t roam the many parts of the Paldea region, preferring to stay in only a few locations. So visit the following points, and you will meet a few:

  • South Province Area One
  • South Province Area Five
  • South Province Area Three

How to Use Stantler Hair in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Once you get some Stantler Hair, you know what to do with it. While you can transfer moves from Pokémon to Pokémon using Mirror Herb, it’s relatively expensive. So gather some more materials and head over to the TM Machine to craft the following TMs:

TM006 (Scary Face):

  • Stantler Hair x3
  • Sandile Claw x3

TM025 (Facade):

  • Stantler Hair x3
  • Komala Claw x3
  • Tinkatink Hair x3

TM129 (Calm Mind):

  • Stantler Hair x3
  • Realee Fur x3

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.
