Even though mounts are not an integral part of the FFXIV gameplay, we probably won’t be able to find a single player who wouldn’t want to add a couple of new ones to their collection. The game offers hundreds of mounts to suit every taste, but the shadow of Apocryphal Bahamut’s wings overshadows all of them. Being a majestic dragon and holding in his paws a comfortable sofa for you to sit on, Apocryphal Bahamut doesn’t mind riding you around the world of FFXIV. But first, you have to overcome time after time all the dangerous and rare challenges of the Endwalker expansion.
FFXIV: All Steps to Get Apocryphal Bahamut Mount
First of all, it is worth noting that Apocryphal Bahamut is the final mount and the final reward of your Endwalker expansion adventure. And as many FFXIV veterans might have already guessed, the tradition of past seasons remains unchanged. After all, to get the Apocryphal Bahamut mount in FFXIV, you must repeatedly complete seven Endwalker Extreme Trials and collect seven rare Lynx Mounts. As you might expect, the chance of getting such a rare drop is not 100%, but here is a list of all the Trials you should grind to succeed.

The good news is that with the release of each new patch, players who do not want to spend dozens of hours grinding can buy these mounts from Nesvaaz NPC in Radz-at-Han (X: 10.5 Y: 10.1) for 99 Totem of the corresponding type. It’s likely that if you visit Nesvaaz right now, you won’t be able to buy all seven Lynx. In this case, you’ll have to spend a few hours grinding Extreme Trials or wait until these mounts become available in the store.

Once you have completed this time-consuming requirement, you only need to go to Old Sharlayan and talk to the Singingway NPC (X: 12, Y: 10) to accept the Wings of Hope quest. This quest will not require much effort and time, so you can take it as an intro to obtaining such a rare mount. During the final cut scene of the Wings of Hope quest, you will see an Apocryphal Bahamut descend from the sky to become your faithful mount for many years.
