Talking about the strengths of Remnant 2, the first thing that comes to mind is the high potential for multiple playthroughs. Most of the locations in the game are procedurally generated, making each adventure unique. In addition, some rewards change depending on the playthrough, or you can use the same item in different ways. We have a guide on how to complete the Council Chamber quest and get the Ornate Blade by providing the Assassin Dagger as proof of a kill. But you can also use this item to craft other weapons.
First, it’s worth noting that you won’t be able to use Assassin Dagger twice in the same playthrough. You can exchange it for an Ornate Blade by completing the Council Chamber quest. On the other hand, you can stay away from fairies’ political intrigue and get Assassin’s Dagger as a melee weapon. You only need to visit Nimue and craft this weapon.
However, this is not a big problem because you can always visit Adventure Mode and run through the location again to get both weapons. But first, you should know about the Assassin Dagger quest item location in the Remnant 2.
Where To Find Assassin Dagger – Council Chamber Quest Item
First, you must engage with The Fae Council Event to unlock access to another fairy dimension. It doesn’t matter if you want to help these creatures or not. After starting the quest, you must find a large black mirror in one of the rooms of this location and enter it to get to another dimension. After that, you just need to complete a small puzzle and pick up the Assassin Dagger in the throne room:
- Once on the other plane of the fairies, go to the alternate version of the Council Chamber.
- Collect the colored tablets on the fairy chair columns. Change the location of the signs according to the reflection in the water at your feet.
- Once you complete this requirement, you can enter the Throne Room at the back of the Council Chamber.
- Go around the throne on the left side and climb to its top.
- Take the Assassin Dagger from the neck of the dead One True King.
How To Craft Assassin’s Dagger
Once you have obtained a cosmetic Assassin Dagger, you can exchange it for a real Assassin’s Dagger weapon by visiting Nimue at her Retreat. You won’t need any other materials, so it’s more like an exchange than a craft.
Assassin’s Dagger is an excellent melee weapon for players who prefer melee combat. After all, in addition to a good base damage value of 41, this weapon has a unique Bloodthirst Mode. Due to the effect of this mod, you deal 25% more damage to Bleeding enemies and another 25% more damage when attacking from behind. In addition, this weapon’s Charge Attacks deal 200 Bleeding damage over 10s. All this allows you to destroy almost any ground enemies. But it is worth noting that these weapons are less effective against large hordes of opponents.
