Barbie Girl Ribbon – A Guide
Most of the ribbons in BitLife are an absolute joy to win whether your fate is good or bad. Barbie Girl is one of them. But it’s also one of the most difficult ribbons to get. That’s because BitLife has some strict requirements for it, and even if you do meet them all, there’s no guarantee you’ll die with the Barbie Girl ribbon attached.
Even so, you must meet these two conditions to get a chance to earn the Barbie Girl BitLife ribbon:
- Be a female Bitizen (either a cisgender woman or a transgender woman will work)
- Have a lot of plastic surgery
That’s it. There are only two mandatory requirements to get the BitLife Barbie Girl ribbon. It seems easy, right? Well, that’s the mistake many players make. The hard part comes with avoiding all the other ribbons.
Tips on Earning the Ribbon
First off: you can’t die too soon. So, stay out of fights and avoid trouble. You can’t make too much money, but plastic surgery is costly. So, you need a decent job. Not an amazing job. For my BitLife playthrough, I scored the Barbie Girl ribbon by being a Trucker.
Start plastic surgery while in your 20s. The earlier, the better, but be sure your job is still enough to support the endeavor. Again, you need a lot of surgeries. Brazilian butt lift, botox, breast augmentation, etc., are all good routes. But still, if you make too much money, you can die with a different BitLife ribbon attached rather than the Barbie Girl one.
You can still marry, have children, and all that fun stuff. But don’t have too many children as it can also lead to another ribbon. Being completely alone has a separate ribbon, as does sleeping around. Balance is key.
At the end of it all, it’s more randomized than anything else. I pushed numerous Bitizens through dying at various stages, and none earned the ribbon. It wasn’t until my oldest one died with a healthy chunk of money (after being in the negative for years), divorced, and childless that I earned the ribbon. So, keep experimenting. You’ll live your Barbie dream life at some point.
