Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree adds numerous new content for players to discover, such as weapons and items. Among them is a Talisman called the Blade of Mercy, which you can find in a nearby location in Elden Ring‘s Realm of Shadow. The tricky part is that it is located high up on the roof, and you need to find a way to get up. The area is also filled with enemies, so you will need to defeat them all first.

You can get the Blade of Mercy Talisman at the Scorched Ruins in Elden Ring. This location can be found northeast of your spawning point in the Realm of Shadow. You can also see the Furnace Golem boss north of this settlement, but I recommend you avoid it.

Numerous human enemies walk around in this location. Although they’re not that powerful, their numbers may cause you some trouble. You should eliminate all of them before you start looking for the Blade of Mercy.

Once the area is clear, you need to find stairs inside a broken building on the southwest side of town. You will pass three crouching enemies, but they won’t bother you unless you attack. When you’re on the second floor, you can go outside and climb on the roof to your left.

There will be two enemies in the next building. After you defeat them, you can walk through the door and look to your right. You will see another roof you must walk on to reach the tall building on the northeast side of town.

On your left side, you will discover a wooden door. Don’t worry; there is no enemy inside, only a treasure chest. Inside it, you will find the Blade of Mercy, which raises your attack power after each critical hit.
