Of course the game that lets you wear a pot for a helmet lets you beat people with a severed demon arm. FromSoftware has an eye for gorgeous (and gruesome) weapon designs, after all. Shadow of the Erdtree brought out some gory glories, including the Bloodfiend’s Arm. You can get this weapon by literally disarming one of the titular demons, but that poses a few problems of its own. It’s worth it for that beautiful blood-bonking, so if you’re running a Strength build, look no further. Here’s how to get the Bloodfiend’s Arm in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.
Shadow of the Erdtree Bloodfiend’s Arm Guide
To get the Bloodfiend’s Arm, you’ll want to farm Bloodfiends until one of them drops this Colossal weapon. The best place to do some Bloodfiend farming is Prospect Town. The good news is you can get there soon after starting arriving at the Land of Shadow. You’ll find Prospect Town west of Gravesite Plain, south of the Cliffroad Terminus. You’ll find a group of Bloodfiends in and around the ruined plaza. Take them all out to maximize your odds of them dropping this weapon. If the weapon doesn’t drop for some reason, rest at the nearby Site of Grace to reset the demons and try again.
So you’ve got a giant demon arm. What should you do with it? You have a few viable options. The direction you go mostly defends on which stats you’ve been developing. Bloodfiend’s Arm scales with Strength, Dex, and Arcane, making it as flexible as its dead owner’s infernal ligaments. It’s arguably best for Arcane Bleed builds, however. Here are some tips to make this weapon’s DPS as gross as the arm itself:
- Strip down to light armor and embrace your Arcane sight
- Alternatively, pair it with heavy armor, forget rolling, and embrace the bonk
- Pair it with the Two-Handed Sword Talisman or Two-Headed Turtle Talisman
- Wear the White Mask (obtained in the Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum) to maximize its Bleed build synergy
Whether you’re aiming for the Bleed meta or just think it’s funny to hit a guy with another guy, Bloodfiend’s Arm has a lot to offer. Maybe the next Bloodfiend will think twice before…minding its business in the middle of a plaza.
