Want to know how to get the Dreamcatcher in Remnant 2? Despite the exciting storyline of Remnant 2, progress through the story is impossible without good weapons. Dreamcatcher is one of the best melee weapons because, besides good damage, it has a powerful Dreamwave ability. This ability allows you to slow down your enemies and thus strengthen your character, which is extremely useful in the battle against hordes of monsters. In addition, the Dreamcatcher is an integral step in unlocking the secret Invader archetype.
To get the Dreamcatcher in Remnant 2, you must place the Nightweaver Stone Doll in The Web in the small dimension of The Tormented Asylum. This process is not so complicated as it requires you to be patient and consistently complete a series of quests. In addition, you must almost complete the storyline in the Losomn world. However, below you will find all the steps you need to follow to get the Dreamcatcher in Remnant 2:
- First, as you progress through the story of Losomn, you must get to the Asylum location. You will fight several monsters in this location, but more importantly, you can collect three Carved-Stone Dolls. These dolls can be in random places due to procedural world generation, so you must look around the whole building.
- You will also have to defeat Vicious Vortex next to the shed in the backyard of this location. You will receive a couple of things for the victory, but also you will find the Asylum Third Floor Key in the barn.
After collecting everything you need, go up to the third building floor. Exit through the open window and pick up the Prison Cell Key on a small stone balcony. - Next, go down to the basement and give the dolls to the Head Doctor locked in the cell. To do this, you only need to start a conversation and select the option I have something of yours. After that, use the Prison Cell Key to open the door and collect the Nightweaver Stone Doll on the floor.
- Now you should postpone this quest and move a little more through the plot. Once you reach the Magister Dullain boss, defeat him and head towards the exit. Going down the stairs, you will notice that there is more and more web around, and at the very bottom, you will find The Nightweaver devouring a person. The monster will retreat by noticing you, but a Soulkey Tribute will remain next to the corpse.
- Return to the Asylum basement and place the Soulkey Tribute in The Strange Web to open a passage to The Tormented Asylum dimension.
- In this parallel dimension, you have to fight The Nightweaver. But more importantly, you can notice a large web in the darker version of the room from which you freed the Head Doctor. Place the Nightweaver Stone Doll there, and you will receive a Dreamcatcher.
Remnant 2: Dreamcatcher Explained
As we said, the Dreamcatcher is a great melee weapon with the following basic stats:
- Damage: 58
- Critical Hit Chance: 5%
- Weak Spot Damage: 95%
- Stagger Modifier: 3%
In addition, this weapon has a unique ability. After you deal 250 damage, you can release a Dreamwave in a 20m radius that slows enemies for 10 seconds. In addition, for each stack (an enemy hit by this attack), you gain +2% to all damage and movement speed for 10 seconds. So when fighting a large horde of enemies, you can activate this skill faster than the effects of previous use will disappear.
