Give your enemies a shocking surprise with the Enigma, a Handgun in Remnant 2 capable of electrocuting multiple targets at once. Such a weapon will undoubtedly come in handy when simultaneously dealing with multiple incoming targets. For instance, fighting off Root Tumbler hordes of Yaesha or the droves of Oil Drans is much more manageable with the Enigma. Similar to the Cube Gun, this Handgun is acquired in The Labyrinth; however, it’s tucked away in a secret area accessible via a specific portal.

To get Enigma in Remnant 2, you must progress through The Labyrinth to the portal accessed via the locked doorway near the starting World Stone. This portal does not remain static with its destination, as it constantly switches between accessible locations. The gateway you should be keeping an eye out for is one where white lines are flowing from an empty void. Additionally, check the portal’s upper visible area for a stone ledge.

When this portal’s particular gateway appears, immediately rush through. Your character will vertically come out the other side, seemingly falling into the abyss. However, a stone pathway will quickly form, catching your fall and allowing you to access this secret location. Once you reach the main area, several enemies will confront you. These include a few Small Golems, an Energy Sphere, and the white cube connected to a giant stone used to smash you.

After dealing with these Labyrinthian hostiles, continue to the end of the linear walkway to find another portal. Investigate the backside of a pillar next to the gateway to find the Cipher Rod in Remnant 2. Your MC will then verbally mention that McCabe will know what to do it.

Accordingly, return to Ward 13 and show the Cipher Rod to McCabe to craft the Enigma Handgun in Remnant 2. Like other special secret weapons found during your travels, you will need Lumenite Crystals to upgrade this Handgun, including Scrap and Iron variations.
