How to Get the Fomorian Disruptor in Warframe

Here’s a grocery list, Tenno.

This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Before you can participate in the Fomorian Threat event mission in Warframe (which has good rewards), you will need a Fomorian Disruptor. The problem is, Warframe can be confusing with its tutorials. Worry not, because we’re here to teach or remind you how to get the Fomorian Disruptor and participate in this event.

You’ll Need to Craft the Fomorian Disruptor in Warframe

You probably have the blueprint for the Fomorian Disruptor already if you’ve been playing for a while. As soon as you log in when the Fomorian Threat event mission is ongoing or live, Lotus will send you an in-game email, so check your inbox. Open the Main Menu > Communication > Inbox. There, you will see the Fomorian Disruptor Blueprint; it’s already in your inventory, but it won’t hurt to double-check if you actually received it.

Afterward, you can head on over to the Foundry on your ship. Just search for it if you have difficulty finding it among your unused blueprint pile. The Fomorian Disruptor blueprint is also reusable and you might need to reuse it to craft quite a handful; each crafted Fomorian Disruptor is only a one-time use consumable device.

Resources Needed for the Fomorian Disruptor

If you’re just a new player, you’ll likely have a lot of work ahead of you to craft the Fomorian Disruptor. You can refer to the image above for the resources needed in order to craft it. We’ll also be detailing a brief tip on where to farm these materials relatively easily.

  • 3,500 Nano Spores – You can farm them more efficiently in the Dark Sectors of Eris, Neptune, Saturn, or the Orokin Derelict.
  • 300 Cryotic – Any Excavation mission will do. Dark Sector Excavations with Nano Spores or Omega Isotopes are ideal to minimize your effort.
  • 4 Omega Isotope – Missions in the planet where the Balor Fomorian event mission takes place; refer to our Warframe Omega Isotope farming guide.

Other Requirements for the Fomorian Disruptor in Warframe

Again, we’d like to remind you that you might need more than one Fomorian Disruptor since you need a total of 1,000,000 accumulated damage to qualify for the event reward. This damage metric is cumulative, thankfully.

So just multiply all those Nano Spores, Cryotic, and Omega Isotope with the number of Fomorian Disruptors you need.

Last but not least, you will also need an Archwing not as a requirement to get the Fomorian Disruptor in Warframe, but as a necessity for the actual Fomorian Threat event mission. You might want to start grinding now if you wish to join in ruining the Grineer’s day.

Warframe is available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
