Want to know how to get The Founder’s Grasp in Final Fantasy 16? While the main focus of Final Fantasy fans is on the plot of the new game, such activities as finding equipment and weapons are still an integral part of the gameplay. If you’re looking for some of the best vambraces, The Founder’s Grasp is the one for you. Although this item has no special effects and is inferior to Sons of Ouroboros in Defense stats, the overall base stats of this item are the best among vambraces. So, once you reach the later stages of Final Fantasy 16, you should find The Founder’s Grasp, and today we’ll help you with that.

To get The Founder’s Grasp in Final Fantasy 16, complete the Where There’s a Will side quest in The Hideaway. To get access to this quest, you must complete the Back to Their Origin main quest. If you have already fulfilled this requirement, go to The Hideaway and talk to Joshua, who will offer you to read the letter from Cyril. At this point, you will accept Where There’s a Will and start a new little adventure.

Luckily, the Where There’s a Will side quest is relatively simple, except for the mini-boss fight. However, here’s what you need to do to complete Where There’s a Willget and get The Founder’s Grasp in Final Fantasy 16:

  • After talking to Joshua, go to Tabor. Enter the house and follow the marker to the Requietory.
  • After talking to the quest NPC, head to the new quest point on the map. You must go south from your current location.
  • Once you get to the right place, you must defeat the mini-boss Simurgh. It is a relatively easy fight, but completing it will give you some good rewards, including Sharp Fang, Heartstone, and Wyrrite.
  • After defeating the mini-boss, return to Tabor and speak with Goditha. From this conversation, you will learn some pretty interesting plot details.
  • Next, you must go to Hawk’s Cry Cliff and find Elwin’s memorial. A beautiful and heartwarming cut scene will be the finale of this quest, after which you will receive well-deserved rewards.

The Founder’s Grasp base stats are 94 Defense and 50 HP, giving the player maximum defense against this item type. But in addition to the most valuable reward, completing the quest will reward you with a Rusted Battlehelm and EXP.
