Big Games Pets’ creature-collecting sim has received a large overhaul adding new items and pets. Amongst the new additions is a brand new item called the Golden Shovel, which can be used to dig up digsites for chests. Thing is, many players are confused as to how to obtain it. How to Acquire the Golden Shovel
First things first, at the time of writing, you can’t purchase the Golden Shovel from the Shovel Merchant using Coins. Instead, it’s obtained as a rare drop by completing minigames.
To help you out even further, we recommend heading to the Desert area and completing the Pyramid Obby there. Not only is it fairly straightforward to manoeuver through, but it also won’t take too long, either.
Unfortunately, though, the Golden Shovel is not a guaranteed drop. In fact, it’s a very rare item so you may need to complete the Pyramid Obby a few times to nab the elusive spade. Thankfully, the obby resets every 15 minutes, so you can always keep retrying until you unlock it.

The Golden Shovel is a Legendary item in Pet Simulator 99. Not only does it look snazzy with a golden skin, but it also digs up blocks incredibly quickly. Some reports are saying that it’s the fastest shovel in the game — even better than the Purple Pro Shovel — though, we’re yet to confirm that ourselves.
