Light Dragon’s Scale is one of the most valuable and lifesaver materials in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Using Light Dragon’s Scale, you can fuse your weapons and shields, craft incredibly powerful Elixirs, or sell them for a few rupees. You will have to spend a lot of time in the sky to get this excellent material because you’ll be looking for a dragon called Light Dragon. We’ll walk you through how to get the Light Dragon’s Scale in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as quickly as possible.
Where To Find Light Dragon Scales in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
To get Light Dragon Scales, you’ll first need to find the Light Dragon, one of the mighty dragons that dominate the sky in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Light Dragon cannot be seen from the surface, and you must be as high as possible to spot it. This magnificent dragon patrols the outer areas of the map throughout the day and always proceeds on the same route. The Light Dragon travels Hyrule on this route:
- Starting point – Hyrule Fields
- Then north to Hebra Mountains
- Passes by Death Mountain
- Then heads central into Lanayru Wetlands
- Then heads towards East Necluse, edge of the map
- Passes by Lake Hylia
- Then crosses Gerudo Highlands and goes back to Hyrule Fields
- It resets its route
Crossing the Light Dragon’s route will be highly challenging as it is constantly on the move. However, since the route the Light Dragon flies is the same, you can wait for the dragon to pass in one of these regions or follow this route quickly. Every ten minutes, the Dragons are said to reset their path, at which time they may be impossible to locate. But you can find the Light Dragon by following this route at certain times of the day or by waiting at a specific place. You can use a hot air balloon or your kite to fly to it.
