Sooner or later, you will have to find something more powerful, and Electrocutor Officer’s Sword is a great transitional stage between the early and the legendary level. To get this weapon, you must find and open Obi’s Things. To unlock Obi’s Things in Dead Island 2, you’ll have to go through a multi-stage quest and find the Obi Key, and we’ll help you do it.
Dead Island 2: How To Find the Obi Key and Open Obi’s Things

First of all, it is worth noting that Obi’s Things is located in the Beverly Hills area, so you should go there. Next, visit a small Roxanne’s villa in the eastern part of the location, as shown in the image above, and go to the pool. You will notice a small Obi’s Things case in the water (we advise you to turn off the electricity so as not to take damage in the water). Approach Obi’s Things and take a Note. After that, you will accept The Clean And Snatch side quest, and start looking for the Obi Key.
To find the Obi Key and open Obi’s Things in Dead Island 2, you must do the following:
- Find four clues in Beverly Hills.
- Go to the Bel-Air area and find zombie Obi The Pool Guy. Kill him to get the key.
- Return to Beverly Hills and open Obi’s Things to get the Electrocutor Officer’s Sword.
It is a pretty easy quest, but let’s look at each step in more detail.
Where To Find Four Clues in Beverly Hills
Although we said you need to find four clues, there are three. The first clue was the note you picked up to start the quest. So all you have to do is visit the three villas, as shown in the image above, and collect three more clues.
The important condition is that you collect three different items in a strict order:
- A Parting Gift. Note on Obi’s Things.
- Dave’s Phone. Phone on a sun lounger in Farouk’s villa.
- Note For Michael. You will find a Note in Michael’s Villa in the pool.
- Obi’s Phone. You will find the phone near the corpse sitting by the pool.
Where To Get Obi’s Key In Bel-Air
Once you’ve collected all the items, you’ve triggered the spawn of Obi The Pool Guy. Find the nearest map, use Fast Travel to Bel-Air, and reach the GOAT Pen mansion. Go to the back of the house, and you will notice Obi The Pool Guy in the pool. Kill him, and you will receive Obi’s Key as a reward.
How To Get Electrocutor Officer’s Sword in Dead Island 2
You are at the finish line. Having received the Obi’s Key, you must return to the beginning of your journey. With pride in your work, go down to the pool, open Obi’s Things, and collect your well-deserved reward. The Electrocutor Officer’s Sword is an excellent melee weapon with an Electrified effect. In addition, this weapon has good base damage, which you can further increase.
