This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Since Remnant 2 is one of the most replayable games in 2023, it would be foolish to expect its first DLC not to have the same features. Of course, The Awakened King offers unique story content, including a battle with the One True King. But you can also find a lot of new types of weapons, rings, and amulets, some of which cannot be obtained in one playthrough. So, when you first find a Misplaced Memoir, you may not even realize that this item unlocks as many as four rewards. One of the most hidden rewards is the Ring of Infinite Damage, which increases the fire rate by 8%.

As we said earlier, the Ring of Infinite is only one of four rewards you can obtain in Remnant 2: The Awakened King by using a Misplaced Memoir. At the same time, the method of obtaining this ring is the most unobvious, and therefore, you will have to perform several specific actions:

  • Find Misplaced Memoir.
  • Get the Bookbound Medallion.
  • Find Leywise NPC.
  • Perform some actions during the dialogue with the NPC.

Next, we will tell you in detail about each step you need to complete. But if you’ve already obtained the Paper Heart Relic or the Index of the Scribe amulet, you can skip the familiar steps and move on to the final tips.

Where To Find Misplaced Memoir

Following the beloved traditions of Remnant 2, Misplaced Memoir will not spawn in one specific location. Instead, it can appear in three different locations in the Forlorn Coast region:

  • The first location is in the fishing part of the city in the Forlorn Coast region. Walk across the wooden bridges from the river canal with a bunch of old boats towards the Castle. Pick up the book on the brick rise to the right of the river.
  • The second place is near the giant monster in a red suit. Defeat it and take the book to the right of the bench.
  • The third place is at the foot of the royal palace. Search the old streets to the left of the palace, and you will quickly spot a book.

The next step is so simple. All you need to do is go to your inventory and select Misplaced Memoir. Examine it and interact with the lock to open the book. You can find a Bookbound Medallion inside a book.

If you have explored Forlorn Coast well, you’ve probably met this guy in a round wizard’s hat. But if not, here’s how to find it:

  • Take the Forlorn Coast World Stone as your starting point and head straight down the main road.
  • Soon, you will notice a small passage on the left side, turning into which you will find the entrance to the sewer.
  • Enter the sewer and go straight.
  • Take the first left and say hello to Leywise.

If this is your first time meeting Leywise, be prepared for him to ignore you. You must start a dialogue several times before he agrees to chat. Now that you’re at the finish line, here’s what you should choose during dialogue to get the Ring of Infinite Damage:

  • I have something for you.
  • Is this your medallion?
  • Uh… I found it on the ground.
  • Actually. It sounds important. I’m keeping it.
  • Okay, let’s trade.

By completing these requirements, you will give the medallion and receive the Ring of Infinite Damage. If you agree to give up the medallion for the first time, your reward will be the Burden Of The Sciolist Ring. To summarize, here’s what you should do to get the Ring of Infinite Damage in Remnant 2: The Awakened King:

  1. Find Misplaced Memoir

In one of three locations in the Forlorn Coast region.

  2. Get the Bookbound Medallion

    Inside the book.

  3. Find Leywise Merchant

In the sewers of the Forlorn Coast area.

  4. Receive the ring

Refuse to give the medallion the first time and agree to the second.
