Blizzard Entertainment is bringing back a very nostalgic Halloween event for World of Warcraft Dragonflight players. Besides revamping the Hallow’s End event, the doors of the Scarlet Monastery are also opened. All you need to re-experience one of the oldest dungeons in WoW is the Scarlet Key. So, let’s explain how to get the Scarlet Key and enter the Scarlet Monastery in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
Getting the Scarlet Key for the Old Scarlet Monastery in WoW
You can get the Scarlet Key by opening Loot-Filled Pumpkins or buying it from an Auction House. Loot-Filled Pumpkin is a reward given after you get your first victory of the Headless Horseman. You can face off against the Headless Horseman by queuing for the Hallow’s End event through the Dungeon Finder. You have a very good chance of getting a Scarlet Key from the Loot-Filled Pumpkin. If not, you can always find it in the Auction House for cheap prices.
How To Enter the Old Scarlet Monastery in WoW
After you snatch your Scarlet Key, head over to Tirisfal Glades at 14, 77 coordinates in WoW. Horde players can use the portal from Undercity/Ruins of Lordaeron in Orgrimmar. And Alliance players can use the portal from Ironforge or The Twilight Highlands to travel there. Once you get there, walk up the stairs and find the big room. You’ll see an Old Keyring on the wall to the left side. Having the Scarlet Key in your bag will enable the quest for you.
Read the text and complete the quest. After that, your character will gain the Scarlet Key buff that will take you to the old version of Scarlet Monastery in WoW. You can go there through the portals in Scarlet Halls and Scarlet Monastery. You can now enter four different old dungeons, giving you all unique experiences. Here are all the dungeon bosses:
