In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, there are a whole host of trophies to earn, including the Soar Trophy. As you do your best to platinum the game, you’ll get to use Spider-Man’s vast repertoire of skills. However, for the Soar Trophy, you will only have to use your web wings to fall in style quite a distance. This is actually a pretty big requirement: the trophy clarifies that you must only use your web wings to get from the Financial District to Astoria. This means Web Zips, jumps, or any other abilities are off the table.

Before you start this journey, here’s an optional but super helpful tip: upgrade all of your suit’s tech. This will contribute to improving your wings, such as the Amazing Wings, which will allow you to extend your glides for longer.

When ready, head towards the Financial District to prepare for the Soar Trophy inย Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. If you want to reduce the distance, you’ll want to begin as close to the edge of the district as possible. Similarly, if you want to increase your speed, you can climb one of the nearby skyscrapers and make a fast but stronger descent.

In any case, jump and activate your wings immediately. Glide northeast towards Chinatown and look for the green wind tunnel. These will give you the boost you need, as you’re in for quite a long journey. If you ever lose sight of the destination of your goal for the Soar Trophy inย Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,ย you can use the R3 button to scan what’s nearby and head towards it.ย

Keep going through the tunnel until you reach the end. After completing the first tunnel route, you will find yourself in open water between the two target areas.

Although you are in the middle of nowhere, don’t worry. There are several wind tunnels nearby. Try to take the tunnel in the direction of the target. If you want to get the highest tunnel, ensure you have enough momentum once you exit the first tunnel.

Once you are inside it, glide through the entire tunnel once again. At the end of the journey, you will have reached the Astoria district and completed the flight. The Soar Trophy inย Marvel’s Spider-Man 2ย is yours. You have earned it.ย

Here’s a step-by-step summary of how to get the Soar Trophy:

  1. Head for the Financial District.
  2. Get a boost from a higher building, or position yourself on the surface closest to the target to shorten the distance.
  3. Use the wind tunnel to get around. Remember, you can only use your web wings.
  4. When you are in the open sea between the two zones, choose the tunnel in the target’s direction.
  5. Go all the way through it, and you will be in Astoria.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is available on PlayStation 5.
