During your travels in outer space, you should consider getting an upgrade to the starting ship, the Frontier. Luckily, if you explore all of Starfield’s side content, you won’t have to pay to get a good space vehicle. Shortly after you start your adventure, you can get the best early-game Razorleaf ship. A little later, you can also get the Star Eagle ship. This ship is one of the best free ships in the game that offers excellent cargo capacity, protection, and great potential for installing modules. If that’s what you’re looking for, we’re here to show you how to get the Star Eagle ship in Starfield.

To get the Star Eagle ship in Starfield, you only need to join the Freestar Ranger faction and complete their questline. To do this, you must finish several main missions of The Constellation until you get to Akila City. Along with Sam Coe, you will go to the Gal Bank, and after that, you can talk to Emma at the Freestar Rangers headquarters. You can hardly miss this bar in Akila City. Finally, you only need to ask Emma to accept you into the ranks of the Freestar Rangers, and she will not mind.

As we said earlier, becoming part of a faction, you must finish all this faction’s story quests. More precisely, you have to complete eight missions, where The Hammer Falls mission is the final one. Once you meet these simple but time-consuming requirements, you will finally get the Star Eagle and be able to make it your home ship by visiting the Spaceport Technician.

As a relatively easy ship to obtain, the Star Eagle has many strengths that outperform many starter and purchasable ships. Among other things, this ship has five built-in seats, a base capacity of 2,280 and excellent protection. In addition, Star Eagle has a solid weapon system, so you can defend yourself and destroy enemies.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Star Eagle ship in Starfield. This ship has good base stats, but you can always upgrade it by buying and installing a few modules. After all, you can increase your crew to 8 by maxing out the Ship Command skill, and getting a few extra modules will be a must.
