Want to know the location of Tunic of the Hero Set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Although Tears of the Kingdom offers players dozens of items of equipment, what true fans need is hidden much deeper. The original Link costumes from his previous incarnations will always be a valuable reward for any player. And although this costume is not as historically valuable as the Ocarina of Time clothes, any outfit of the ancient hero Link is a valuable trophy. So if you’re ready to dive into the past, read on to find out about the Tunic of the Hero Set location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Despite the value and uniqueness of Tunic of the Hero, you won’t have to fight bosses or complete quests to get this piece of equipment. You can receive this item from the deepest gorges of Hyrule Depths.

Here’s what you need to do to get the Tunic of the Hero set in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom:

  • To start, you must travel southeast of Central Hyrule to East Hill Chasm near Kakariko Village. Jump into this abyss to enter the Hyrule Depths level.
  • Next, you should head southwest to the Dueling Canyons Mine. If you have unlocked the Fast Travel point in Sohse Lightroot, move to it to save time.
  • Once you get to the Dueling Canyons Mine, jump down into the abyss to go even lower and use the Paraglider to get to the central part of this area (exact coordinates in the image above).

  • At the bottom of the gorge, you will notice a small stone structure and a chest. Open the chest, and you will receive the Tunic of the Hero.

While Tunic of the Hero doesn’t have any special effects or give you resistance, it does have good protection. However, the Hero Armor Set was created not for protection, but as a tribute to one of Link’s previous reincarnations. So if you are a fan of the Zelda series, the Hero Armor Set is great armor for post-story gameplay or side quest.

If you want to find the rest of the Hero Armor Set part, you can find them in the same Hyrule Depths area in the following locations:

  • Cap of the Hero. Southwest of Mimufis Lightroot at Tuft Canyon Mine (coordinates 2522 -3601 -0626).
  • Trousers of the Hero. South of Worihas Lightroot at the Corvash Canyon Mine (coordinates -3353 2314 -0812).

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
