Today, we will discover how to get to Hyrule Castle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In this guide, we will explore two different methods to reach this end-game location and obtain its powerful weapons, equipment, and precious crafting materials. Before we start, make sure to read and follow the instructions carefully, as reaching the castle requires strategic planning and resource management. So, grab your gear, and let’s dive into the journey!

Reaching Hyrule Castle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Let’s start by discussing the first method of reaching Hyrule Castle. For this approach, you will need to make your way to the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower. If you have trouble finding it, the coordinates of the tower are: -0299, 0143, 0019.

Once there, stand on the platform and launch Link into the sky. This will let you paraglide towards the flying castle. However, keep in mind that the castle is located quite a distance away from the watchtower, so you need to restore your stamina while flying. To ensure a smooth journey, you should have at least two Endura Carrot Dishes. These dishes increase and restore your maximum stamina. Alternatively, you can bring a good supply of Heart Dishes, which solely restore your stamina.

Another Method To Reach Hyrule Castle

Now, let’s explore the second method, which allows you to reach Hyrule Castle almost anytime, granted you own some Zonai devices. Begin by following the path north of Lookout Landing until you encounter the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins. Keep progressing until you reach a locked gate. To bypass this obstacle, climb the cliffs on the left side of the gate and proceed along the path. As you continue, you will come across the First Gatehouse. Take a left turn near it and stay on the path until you spot a building station with wooden parts. In case you get lost, check the coordinates for the station: -0058, 0916, 0138.

Once you reach the building station, it’s time to assemble a flying machine using Zonai Devices. Before starting, remember to save your game in case you will make any mistakes.

To construct the machine, you need the following:

  • A small wooden board
  • 1 Flame Emitter
  • 1 battery
  • 1 balloon

Use the Ultrahand ability to place the Flame Emitter in the middle of the board, position the balloon on top of the Flame Emitter, and add the battery to the side of the board. With it complete, stand on the board and activate the fire emitter. This will enable your machine to ascend into the sky. One battery is enough to reach the required altitude. From there, gracefully paraglide down from the machine onto the flying island and continue your adventure within Hyrule Castle.

You have now mastered the art of reaching Hyrule Castle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Whether you choose to paraglide from the Watchtower Observatory or construct a flying machine using Zonai Devices, the path to the castle should now be clear.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
