Throughout Hollow Knight, there are many places you’ll visit, some of which you’ll have to access through the Dream Realm, like the White Palace. The Dream Realm takes you beyond the physical world and into a new plane of existence all together. Though you can access the White Palace from the Dream Realm, there are quite a few other places you can access from it as well, like the Temple of the Black Egg, which can be accessed from Stage 1. But today, we’re focusing on the White Palace. Keep reading to learn how to get to the White Palace in Hollow Knight.
Now, before you jump headfirst into trying to get to the White Palace, you’ll need to make sure you can access the Dream Realm first. In order to make it to the Dream Realm, you’ll have to obtain the Awoken Dream Nail. In order to get the Awoken Dream Nail, you’ll need to collect 1,800 Essence, which can be used to make the Dream Nail the Awoken Dream Nail.
Now, you’ll need to locate the corpse or sleeping body that can teleport you to the location you need. The fastest way to do this is to use the Awoken Dream Nail on the Kingsmould Corpse that you can find within the Palace Grounds. You can find the Palace Grounds in the Ancient Basin area, far underground. This means that you won’t be able to access the White Palace until you’ve made it into the end-game territory of Hollow Knight.
In order to make it to the Ancient Basin area, you should take the Royal Waterways up until you make it to the broken bridge. At that point, cross the bridge to find the Tram Station. Once you’re there, obtain a Tram Pass, then head down and to the East. Though, you should make sure that you’ve for Monarch Wings before you go too far, as you won’t be able to access the Palace Grounds without them.
Ass you head Easy, you’ll come across the Kingsmould Corpse in to time. Once you’re there, smack it with the Awoken Dream Nail to open the portal that will take you into the Dream Realm, and directly into the White Palace.
