The Twisted Stouthorn can be obtained as a request item in Monster Hunter World, also known as MHW. It can be obtained easily as long as you have the necessary tools. You will need to be able to defeat three-star master rank monsters before taking this on. Let’s take a look at how to quickly and easily get the Twisted Stouthorn in Monster Hunter World.

As we explained above, the Twisted Stouthorn is a material that is only obtainable in master rank. To get it, follow these instructions:

  • Complete a quest titled a Curious Experiment.
  • Take down a three-star master rank Diablos and break both its horns.

Tips To Get Twisted Stouthorn

When taking down the Diablos, make sure that you’re using the hammer with Partbreaker on. This will make it easier for you to break off the Diablos horns. In our experience, completing the three-star master rank quest, A Line in the Sand was the best way to do this. It’s given to you by the Chief Ecologist and already has you fighting a Diablos.

We recommend using the hammer just because of its power. We felt that of all the other weapons, the hammer was the one that was able to effectively stun and shatter both horns easily. Of course, that doesn’t mean that it was easy fighing against a master rank Diablos. Afterward, you can use it to create Diablos weapons and master rank armor.
