Like every Pokemon game, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have many different Pokemon that players can hunt down and add to their collection. Each has a unique attribute with moves, weaknesses, and power points that can help in different places and situations. Ursaluna is one of the best Ground and Normal-type Pokemon and you can get it in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Get Ursaluna in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Ursaluna is one of the best Pokemon in the Normal-type category that has some of the best stats for attack and defense. Players who are familiar with previous Pokemon games and the lore of the Pokemon world know how good it can be in situations where the other Pokemon is weak against Normal-type.

Unfortunately, Ursaluna is not part of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet regional Pokedex, and therefore, you won’t be able to find it in the game. Ursaluna is the evolved version of Teddiursa, which explains why it is not available in the game.

Teddiursa only existed in Hisui or Ancient Sinnoh years in the past, which makes it impossible to be in the modern Sinnoh when Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are setting in. There is still a way to bring Ursaluna in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but it’s only available for those with a Pokemon Home subscription.

Players with a Pokemon Home subscription can transfer Ursaluna from Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Even if you transfer Teddiursa into the game, it won’t evolve into Ursaluna because Paldea doesn’t have the Moon Cycles necessary for Teddiursa’s evolutions.

So, if you have a Pokemon Home subscription, transferring Ursaluna and using it as best you can is best. Its attacks are extremely good and powerful, and using the mixture of Thrash and Tera Blast attacks will even knock out the opponent on the first hit.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have many other Pokemon, each with unique move sets and attacks that you can use to enjoy your adventure in the game.
