How To Unlock the Dew Collector in 7 Days To Die
To get the 7 Days to Die Dew Collector, you will first have to unlock the ability to craft it. This can be done by collecting Forge Ahead magazines that you can find all around the world. Alternatively, you can purchase them from traders for 300 dukes. You only need to use one to unlock the Dew Collector under the Crafing Skills, over at the Workstations tab.
To craft the Dew Collector, you will have to collect 1 Water Filter, 100 Scrap Polymers, 4 Short Iron Pipes, and 3 Duct Tape. You can find Scrap Polymers by harvesting them from tires on the ground. The Iron Pipes can be found by using a Disassembly Tool to harvest blocks. Loot Zombies and Containers to collect Duct Tape.
Finally, to get the Water Filter, you will have to visit the Trader. Purchase one Water Filter for 1,500 Duke’s Casino Tokens. If you are missing one of the items you need to craft the Dew Collector, you can use the Track option in the Crafting menu to find them.
Once you have all the items you need, you will be able to craft the Dew Collector in 7 Days to Die to collect water. Then, you will need to position it in a place with a clear sky. To do so, use rooftops for them to collect the water you need in 7 Days to Die. This will also help to protect them from any wild menaces.

Each Dew Collector will give you up to three water doses. Once you have collected the maximum, you will have to consume them for the Collector to keep collecting water. For that reason, having a couple of Collectors will ensure that you have a constant flow of drinkable water. In turn, you will not have to wait for them to collect water in 7 Days to Die. Moreover, having several of these will ensure that, if you play with a party, none of you will ever go thirsty.
