With the addition of fishing to Lego Fortnite in the V28.30 update, many new items have been added to the game. In fact, the majority of the content of this update — called Gone Fishin’ — comprises of fish. Now, there are many different types of fish that you can catch in the game. The times and places to catch these fish are different, and you can also increase your chances of catching rare fish by using a Bait Bucket in Lego Fortnite.

When you go to a lake or the sea to fish in Lego Fortnite, you can see a school of fish circling around a certain spot in the water. This means that you can catch fish more often and faster when you cast a line to that spot because there are more fish in that area. These fish school spots can be in certain colors. The most common types are White. We’ve seen Green ones when we’ve played before, but we’re not sure if Blue, Purple, or Orange colors spontaneously appear. It is very likely that other colors also appear spontaneously, although we’re still unsure about Orange spots.

Fortunately, you don’t need to constantly search for these schools of fish to catch them efficiently. In Lego Fortnite, you can create these spots yourself using the Bait Bucket. You can create a White (Common), Green (Uncommon), Blue (Rare), and Purple (Epic) fish school spot, but not an Orange (Legendary) one. To craft Bait Bucket in Lego Fortnite you will need a Juicer and Food Processor.

  3. When you put the Fish Fillet back into the Food Processor, you will get a Common Bait Bucket.
  4. You can then use the Common Bait Bucket and Juicer to craft the Bait Bucket with the rarity you want.
