Ever wanted to copy Orochimaru’s Rashomon Summoning technique from Naruto? If you get the Skeleton Key, you can. This unique Bell allows you to summon skeletal walls with the push of a button. Want to seal off pathways or prevent your Roblox enemies from harming you? Now you can. Though not as game-changing as Legendary Bells such as Teleportation or Dimensional Travel, the Skeleton Key opens up interesting tactical options. Whether you’re looking for the standard version of this Bell or the Corrupted variation, here’s how to get and use the Skeleton Key in Deepwoken.

Getting and Using the Skeleton Key

To get the Skeleton Key in Deepwoken you need to advance the hidden stat known as Progress. You can do so by killing bosses, certain monsters in the Depths, or players in PvP. Although your Progress is hidden by default, you can bring a Thresher Spine to the NPC Sibex to learn your current Progress and how close you are to retaining your Resonance. If you have maxed out your Progress and face death in the Depths (0% HP), you will be offered a hand of three Bell cards to choose from. These work much like Fruits in Blox Fruits. Skeleton Key may be among them. If it isn’t, you can visit the Shrine of Yun’Shul to reroll your Resonance.

Once you have the Skeleton Key, pressing “C” will summon one or more skeletal walls (up to a total of five). Skeletal walls push anyone who touches them away, and you can push the walls themselves by pressing “C” again after summoning them. Here are the following stats that your Resonance Point Usage affects:

  • Wall Amount – How many walls spawn
  • Duration – How long the walls remain
  • Push Distance – How far the walls can push someone

Is the Key Worth It?

Considering the Skeleton Key’s power in Deepwoken, is it worth it? If you want an uncommon Resonance that will enable some unique defensive strategies in PvE, the Skeleton Key is a good pick. Unfortunately, it’s far less useful in PvP. Other than forcing players into the Death Circle, it’s useless offensively. Worse, the Death Circle tactic is predictable, which will limit you to defensive applications most of the time. This Resonance is useful as a support Resonance if you coordinate with teammates, but even then it might be more trouble than it’s worth, making Skeleton Key one of the more niche powers in Deepwoken.

Roblox is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, and iOS.
