This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Winds of Fate aren’t the only winds that need changing. Your biome dictates certain drops in Sols RNG, which means changing the weather can change your luck. Add a little bit of rain or snow, and you’re one step closer to getting the crafting materials you want. Considering getting the rarest Auras can even make getting a Huge Pet in Pet Simulator 99 look easy, we’ll take all the help we can. It’s no Gargantua, but at least it won’t take forever to get. Here’s how to get and use the Strange Controller in Roblox Sols RNG.

Grab some devil ears and a pitchfork, because we’re taking a trip to the Hell Biome. Actually, you’ll need to visit every biome if you want a Strange Controller. That’s because the ingredients you need to craft it only spawn in certain places. Once you get your hands on everything you need, you can head to Jake’s Workshop (the crafting station near spawn) to construct the device. Here are the crafting ingredients you need to get a Strange Controller in Sols RNG:

  • NULL? x1 (Null biome)
  • Eternal Flame x1 (Hell biome)
  • Piece of Star x1 (Starfall biome)
  • Curruptaine x1 (Corrupt biome)
  • Rainy Bottle x1 (Rain biome)
  • Icicle x1 (Snowy biome)
  • Wind Essence x1 (Windy biome)

All of the recipe ingredients spawn on the ground, so they’re easy to spot. Just make sure you’re in the appropriate biome for each ingredient before beginning your hunt. If you’re not sure if the biome is correct, you can double-check your current biome in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

How to Use the Controller

Although gathering the ingredients for the Strange Controller in Sols RNG is a treasure hunt, using the device is easy. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Open your inventory
  • Select the Strange Controller
  • Press “Use”

Using the Strange Controller doesn’t remove it from your inventory. Instead, it goes on a 20-minute cooldown (no spamming, sorry). The main difference between the Strange Controller and Biome Randomizer is that the Strange Controller follows natural biome spawn rates instead of fixed ones. That means the Biome Randomizer grants equal odds of getting each biome, giving you much better control. Strange Controller is a good placeholder, but if you truly want to master the mysteries in Sols RNG, the Biome Randomizer is better.

Roblox is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Mobile.
