Getting lost in the gigantic universe of Path of Exile is a major part of the experience. However, gaining access to different locations and areas in PoE will require enhancing the Atlas of the World which can be quickly done by using Voidstones. Getting those stones, however, is a different story. We will break it down below.

Voidstones are important items in PoE because they connect to the Atlas of Worlds. They are used to upgrade map tiers to reach the next section of the game. There are four Voidstones in general that you can get only by defeating these enemies:

  • The Searing Exarch (Omniscient Voidstone)
  • The Eater of the Worlds (Grasping Voidstone)
  • The Uber Elder (Decayed Voidstone)
  • The Maven (Ceremonial Voidstone)

Since finding and getting the Voidstones are necessary parts of progression in the game, they are all quest-related. The Searing Exarch is one of the Eldritch Horrors that you will face at the end of the Searing Exarch quest. He is located in the Absence of Patience and Wisdom.

The next Eldritch Horror you must face to get a Voidstone is The Eater of the Worlds, which is a lot similar to Searing Exarch. They both have a similar 50% resistance to Fire, Cold, Lightning, and 30% to Chaose. You will face it at the end of The Eater of the World quest in the Absence of Symmetry and Harmony.

The Uber Elder is a bit tricky to face. Firstly, you must reach the Shaper’s Realm and defeat the regular variant of The Elder and The Shaper. Defeating them will drop four fragments, which you must use on the Atlas to gain entry to the Uber Elder boss fight. Then you must come back here and, this time, face the Uber Elder, defeat it, and get the third Voidstone.

And the last boss fight you must face to get the final Voidstone is The Maven. She will be part of The Maven and The Atlas of Worlds quest. Gaining her entry will require several boss fights since you must slay multiple bosses to show strength. Once you’ve gained the entry and defeated The Maven, you will get the last Voidstone in Path of Exile. We also recommend watching the Altek2k video on how to defeat this boss fight easily:

You need to know everything about getting all four Voidstones in Path of Exile. Make sure to check our website for more PoE guides and articles.

Path of Exile is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
