How do you get Webber to join your Cult of the Lamb? Webber is an adorable little spider friend who can become a follower of your cult in the game. The whole goal of the title is recruiting as many followers to your cult until you have a strong enough cult to satisfy “The One Who Waits.” Webber’s inclusion in Cult of the Lamb is tied to the title’s cross-promotion with the Don’t Starve Together survival video game. Webber is a character from Don’t Starve that was introduced in one of the DLCs.

Webber and the other Don’t Starve Together promotional upgrades were added to Cult of the Lamb as part of the 1.2.6 patch. Downloading the patch is free, but you still need to unlock Webber and buy some of the new decorations.

You can summon Webber with a unique skull that is dropped from spiders. You can find and kill spiders at the base. If you kill enough spiders, a skull will eventually spawn. Bury the skull in a grave, and Webber will pop up. Webber has a hairy face and multiple legs hanging on the side of its face. The new follower can have multiple different appearances in Cult of the Lamb.

Webber has a unique ability where spiders will follow behind it in a trail. Gaining Webber as a follower will also give you access to the new Penitence mode added to the game as part of the promotion.

What Else To Expect For Don’t Starve Together Crossover

Besides Webber, the Cult of the Lamb and Don’t Starve Together cross-promotion includes a new mode, decorations, and musical track. Penitence mode is unlocked once Webber joins your cult.

Penitence mode is similar to the Don’t Starve Together surviving mechanic. The Lamb is given a Hunger and Sleep bar in Penitence mode. You must feed the Lamb and make sure he gets enough sleep, or else a mysterious timer will appear. Once the timer starts, the Lamb will take damage each time it counts down. You will receive a permanent game over if you perish during Penitence mode.

New musical tracks for Cult of the Lamb include:

  • “Heket Punished”
  • “Lechy Finished”
  • “Shamura Punished”
  • “Kallamar Punished”

All the new decorations included in the game are based on Don’t Starve Together:

  • Alchemy Engine
  • Deerclops Figure
  • Marble Tree
  • Pig Head Flag
  • Science Machine
  • Potted Treeguard
  • Hay Wall
