Sick of Pikachu always missing with Thunder? Want to give Hitmonchan’s punches a pick-me-up? The Wide Lens might be the solution. This item increases the Accuracy of moves, making it more likely that your Pokemon’s hits will connect. Making your hits more reliable isn’t usually a big deal when hunting wild Pokemon, but during tough gym battles, reliability is key. Although this item has appeared throughout the series, how you get it has changed several times. It’s worth snagging this glass gadget, however. After all, there’s nothing sadder than watching a Charizard whiff. Here’s how to get the Wide Lens in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

You can find the Wide Lens in Levincia in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but unlike Curry Powder, it’s not at the supermarket. Instead, you’ll need to pay a visit to Delibird Presents. You can find the store in the northwestern section of town. The Wide Lens costs ₽20,000, making it much pricier than items like the Black Belt or Never-Melt Ice. Honestly, it’s worth it to not tear your hair out after watching your Pokemon keep missing attacks. This Delibird location is the only one where you can get your hands on this eye-catching item.

Once you’ve acquired the Wide Lens, you can equip one of your Pokemon with it. Doing so will boost the Accuracy of their moves by 10%. Because some players don’t realize that different Delibird shops have different items, it’s easy to miss out on some of the most useful battle accessories in the game. To summarize, here’s what you need to do to get the Wide Lens in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet:

  • Travel to Levincia
  • Visit Delibird Presents
  • Navigate to “Battle Items” in the menu
  • Buy the Wide Lens for ₽20,000

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available for Nintendo Switch.
