Finding the Tree at the Fane of Ashvattha in Genshin Impact
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

If Genshin Impact Travelers wish to access the entrance to Old Vanarana in Sumeru, they must first enter the Fane of Ashvattha, a subarea in the Vissudha Field of the Dharma Forest. Moreover, finding the Fane of Ashvattha is an objective that players must fulfill for the World Quest “For Fruits, Seeds, and Trees,” which takes place during the series Aranyaka: Part III, “Nursery of Lost Dreams.” While Travelers will be able to see the Waypoint of this subarea location on their world map, accessing it is easier said than done, as the process involves solving tricky puzzles and combat.

Steps for Activating the Cubes to Drain the Water for Accessing the Fane of Ashvattha in Genshin Impact

To get started on the endeavor for accessing the Fane of Ashvattha, Genshin Impact Travelers can begin at the Sumeru Statue of the Seven in the Vissudha Field. Travel westward to find a sizeable pond inside a deep ravine. Here, players must drain the water by finding two cube mechanisms in the hidden ruin of the cliff.

YouTube content creator WoW Quests demonstrates that the first cube mechanism for unlocking the Fane of Ashvattha in Genshin Impact can be found in the hollow above the eastern waterfall of the ravine pond in the Vissudha Field. After gliding into the hollow area or using the Four-Leaf Sigils to enter, players must defeat the two Ruin enemies guarding the cube to activate its mechanism. Next to this initial cube, players will notice an underground tunnel leading deeper into the ruin. This pathway will lead Travelers to the second cube mechanism.

After following the tunnel, players will find themselves in an underground chamber with the second cube mechanism for unlocking the Fane of Ashvattha in Genshin Impact. To activate it, Travelers must use a Dendro character to trigger four Dendro Totems hidden in the chamber. Two can be accessed using Four-Leaf Sigils, while the other two are trapped in boulders that can only be destroyed using Dendrograna. The Dendrograna node can be found by using a Dendro ability on the cube-shaped stone nearby. Once all four totems have been activated, players can interact with the cube mechanism to drain the water below and access the Fane of Ashvattha’s underground Waypoint.

Genshin Impact is available on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
