Anyone who’s entered this Wuxia adventure already might have noticed that there are so many systems that keeping track of them can be a bit confusing at times. On top of the skills and Martial Arts you need to manage, there are also a few other stats you need to pay attention to, especially if you want to pull off some abilities. One of those skills is Vitality, which you’ll need to increase if you want to use some Offensive Mystic Skills in Where Winds Meet.

According to the information inside Where Winds Meet, “Vitality is a key resource required for Offensive Mystic Skills.” At first, this might seem a bit confusing, especially since you don’t have any of these abilities when starting. Yet, once you progress through some quests, you’ll unlock a few, with the first most likely being Blinding Mist, which allows you to throw a mist in front of you and then use your Touch of Death ability. Yet, that skill requires 80 Vitality, and most players will only have 50 at the start. Fortunately, there’s a way to upgrade this stat, but it might take a bit to do so.

To increase your Vitality in Where Winds Meet, you must head to an Oddity Collector, the first one being Qi Sheng, who you can find in the game’s first area, after learning Tai-Chi from the bear. You’ll get the first Vitality upgrade after completing the first section of the Melodies of Peace skill tree. You can find the Vitality upgrade in the big nodes that say The Music of Qinghe.

You must keep in mind that while Qi Sheng has some Vitality upgrades, they might not be enough to help you perform every Offensive Mystic Skill. However, there is another Oddity Collector in Kaifeng, so make sure to level up that skill tree, too.

Another important thing to remember is that since you’ll be going through this Oddity skill tree, make sure to collect every Oddity you find. That means shooting at beehives, capturing grasshoppers, and so on. You can always teleport to places near these NPCs and look at the requirements to unlock the next node. Then, just head to the map and follow the Oddity icon to start collecting them. Eventually, you’ll have enough to upgrade this stat.
