The enemy ARC that leaps all the way across the map to slam and pin you with only 2-3 hits has become a nightmare for me our fellow Raiders. The Leaper, better known as the “Spider thing,” is one of the many ARCs that you may encounter on any map in ARC Raiders, and I have found an ultimate strategy to insta-kill this annoying machine. No worries, you won’t need Wolfpack grenades; anyone can kill any ARC using those.
Easy Kill Leaper In ARC Raiders Using The Right Grenade
What you need is a Ferro and a Blaze Grenade to cheese clean the Leaper in ARC Raiders. You can build Ferro literally after 1 raid with the cheapest of resources, and the Blaze Grenade is something you’ll find as ground loot, or build it with 1x Explosive Compound and 2x Oil if you have a level 3 Explosive Station. None of those available? Buy it from the Trader.
Now I only used one of these to take down a big Leaper in my raid, but if you’ve got more, then I feel really bad for the poor ARC. What you need to do is to find a good shelter, a building you can hide inside, because, well, Leapers can’t fit into those. And then throw the Blaze Grenade at it once it’s stationary.
Nobody said Leapers are allergic to fire, and I’m glad it works perfectly with this one ARC at least! 1 solid hit of Blaze Grenade should paralyze the Leaper, giving you a clear shot to hit it in the eye. Ferro is the common weapon that deals strong damage to the ARCs, and I recommend using just that for killing the Leaper in ARC Raiders. Enjoy the loot, Raiders!
