The journey to Death Step begins with another kind of kick: Dark Step. To get Death Step in Blox Fruits you’ll first need to purchase Dark Step for 250,000 Beli. Next, you’ll need to gain 400 Mastery on it. If you want to get Death Step, it pays to grind Dark Step Mastery while you work on leveling up. Once you’ve proved yourself to be a stalwart stomper you can prepare for your journey to Ice Castle for the next step in the quest. Here’s what you need to do next:
- Travel to Ice Castle in the Second Sea
- Defeat the Awakened Ice Admiral in the Main Room
- Use the Library Key the Admiral dropped to open the castle library
- Speak with Phoeyu, the Reformed in the library
- Pay 2,500,000 Beli and 5,000 Fragments to get Death Step
Awakened Ice Admiral is a Level 1400 boss who uses both melee and Ice moves, so get ready for those frigid fists. The Library Key only has a drop rate of about 10%, so you may have to farm the Admiral for a while before you get your hands on it.
Death Step Moveset

- C / Vermillion Drill – Unleash a flurry of punches, finishing with a powerful overhead kick.
- V / Maximum Overheat – Set your legs on fire to deal 15% more damage with all moves for 40 seconds. Activating this power damages nearby enemies. For this power’s duration, your attacks leave a damaging trail of fire.
