Players can craft Telescope in Minecraft using two resources, namely 2 Copper Ingots and Amethyst Shard. Copper Ingots are very easy to make. You just need to walk through the caves and find Raw Copper. And then smelt Raw Copper into Copper Ingots.
But Amethyst Shard is a completely different matter. This resource is quite hard to find, as it only spawns in two locations:
- You can find Amethyst Shard in chests in Ancient City. But finding this location is quite difficult. Moreover, Ancient City is guarded by a strong mob that does not like extra noise.
- Therefore, we recommend that you look for an Amethyst geode. This structure spawns at approximately Y=-58 and Y=30 depths in any underground biomes. And inside the Amethyst geode, you can collect quite a few Amethyst Clusters from which you can get Amethyst Shards.
