The introduction of Lego Fortnite in Chapter 5 has been a game-changer. Players can construct their own unique world, battle monsters, and share the experience with friends. Like many sandbox games, you can play solo or invite friends to your world and give them Key Holder status to build and modify the world freely, even when you are offline. Thankfully, making someone a Key Holder in Lego Fortnite is a simple process.

You can assign a Key Holder in Lego Fortnite from the main menu. Follow the steps below to assign Key Holder status to a friend:

  1. Select the Lego Fortnite world you want to assign Key Holder and log in.
  2. Invite your friend to the world by pressing the Invite Players Button on the bottom right and selecting the friend from the list.
  3. Once your friend accepts your invitation, select the player and click the Share Key option.

You can make up to seven players from your list as Key Holders. They have a status similar to the owner, and any changes they make to the world are permanent.

You can remove the Key Holder status of players from your world at any time by doing the following:

  1. Go to the menu and select the Friend section.
  2. Select the Key Holder whose status you want to revoke.
  3. Click on the Remove Key option.

Playing Lego Fortnite with friends is a great way to progress the game rapidly, especially when collecting materials for upgrades. Although Epic Games has upgraded tools’ durability, they still break pretty fast. Getting your friends involved can make the process easier and faster than playing alone.
