Ancestral Forge in V Rising is a new item that was added to the game with the Gloomrot update. This item allows you to repair and use rare Shattered Weapons dropped from extremely powerful bosses. However, in order to repair these weapons, you also need to use rare resources such as Radium Alloy. In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know to get Ancestral Forge in V Rising, including the location of Raziel the Shepherd. With that said, let’s move on to our guide.
How To Get Ancestral Forge in V Rising
(Updated on October 1, 2024 – updated links and format)
To obtain the V Rising Ancestral Forge, you must first kill Raziel the Shepherd at Dunley Monastery in Dunley Farmland. After drinking the blood of Raziel the Shepherd, you will learn the Crimson Beam, Artisan Table, and Ancestral Forge. In the past, he didn’t actually give out these rewards, but it changed with the Gloomrot update.
Many V Blood Bosses have been modified and Raziel the Shepherd is one of them. Raziel the Shepherd is a level 57 boss and it is impossible to get Ancestral Forge without defeating him. To craft the forge you need 1 Primal Blood Essence, 8 Radium Alloy, and Iron Ingots.

Then you need to kill the Level 62 Jade the Vampire Hunter boss in Dunley Farmlands for the recipe of the Primal Blood Essence. To get Radium Alloy, which was added to the game with the new update, you need to kill Ziva the Engineer boss.
