Goat Simulator 3 is arguably one of the most controversial Simulator games. Some idolize this game, while others characterize the game as a creation of the diseased imagination of the developers. However, one cannot deny that the game has something to surprise you. In addition to the unusual and sometimes strange plot, which you will learn about much later, Goat Simulator 3 is full of unique mechanics that will make your already fun gameplay even more memorable, like learning how to perform a backflip and frontflip. This is one of the main movement mechanics in the game, and our guide is here to explain how to perform some tricks.

How to Perform a Backflip in Goat Simulator 3
Although in most similar games, the mechanics of movement and tricks are linked to one key, in Goat Simulator 3, everything is much more complicated. You will have to learn how to use the correct key sequence at certain times. You will probably need a little practice, but you will succeed.
So here’s what you have to do to perform a backflip in Goat Simulator 3:
- Stand on a smooth and level surface.
- Hold LT on Xbox or right-click on PC to activate trick rotation.
- Hold LT or right mouse button and press A or Space.
- While in the air, press S on the PC or left analog stick downwards to complete the trick.
How to Perform a Frontflip
If you’re a Backflip master, try performing a frontflip in Goat Simulator 3, and here’s how:
- Repeat all the same you performed for Backflip, except for the last step.
- This time you have to press the left analog stick upwards or W on the PC.
- Once you’ve done that, you will perform a frontflip.
While you don’t have to use the flip mechanic regularly, we still recommend doing so. It’s funny to watch a goat do somersaults with its tongue out. In addition, thanks to the frontflip, it will fly much further if you use a springboard.
