Do you want to know how to photograph Xenochromatic Fontemer Aberrants in Genshin Impact? The highly anticipated Genshin Impact update 4.0 was released some time ago and offers people a wide range of new activities and events to explore. The photography event, Studies in Light and Shadow: A Fontaine of Enchantment, is a particularly tricky one. This event includes some requirements, such as taking photos of three different creatures. Let’s examine how to photograph Xenochromatic Fontemer Aberrants in Genshin Impact.

As part of the Studies in Light and Shadow: A Fontaine of Enchantment, you must photograph three types of Xenochromatic Fortemer Aberrant. For this, you must use the special Bresson’s Special Camera device given to you by Bresson. Below you can find these creatures that you should photograph.

  • Xenochromatic Hunter’s Ray
  • Xenochromatic Armored Crab
  • Xenochromatic Blubberbeast

To take photos of these aberrants, we first need to learn where they are located. The first of these is to go southeast of the Court of Fontaine for the Xenochromatic Hunter’s Ray. If you’ve seen a blue and glowing creature in this area, it’s probably it. Be sure to equip Bresson’s Special Camera while doing this.

For the Xenochromatic Armored Crab, you should look in the areas north of the Salacia Plain. The fact that it is a blue and glowing crab will give it away immediately. After taking a photo of the Armored Crab, the last thing left is the Xenochromatic Blubberbeast. We need to head south of Thalatta Submarine Canyon. If you see a chubby, short-tailed creature in this area, immediately grab your camera and take a photo. While doing all this, remember that you can make your job even easier by using your teleport ability.

Taking photos of the above three types of Xenochromatic Fontemer Aberrants will allow you to complete the first part of the Studies in Light and Shadow: A Fontaine of Enchantment event. You can obtain these rewards from the event menu. The rewards you will receive after completing the first part are as follows;

  •  Primogem x70
  •  Mora x40,000
  •  Hero’s Wit x3
  •  Guide to Equity x2
