Do you want to know how to player lock in Madden 24 Franchise Mode? Player locking is a great way to maintain control over your team and customize the experience. Also, having the ability to player lock can come in handy if you want to control only one player instead of the entire team. This will be very useful if you try to optimize your player with some moves and passing. So, let’s look at how to player lock in Madden 24 Franchise Mode.

You can player lock by pressing the LS button on Playstation and Xbox. Below are the steps you need to follow to set up the player lock feature:

  1. Select Franchise and choose the option to create a new league.
  2. Load the recommended roster of choice.
  3. Choose your franchise team and the player to lock in Madden 24.
  4. Select change roll and choose it as a player. Then select the active player.
  5. Select the start playing option and press the RB button on Xbox R1 on PlayStation to access options.
  6. Go to franchise settings and then league settings.
  7. Go to league-type settings and set the complete onfield control off.

When you switch on the complete onfield control, you can control all players on their team and SuperSim at any point. This is similar to Coach or Owner mode. On the other hand, when you switch off complete onfield control, you can player lock a single player in Madden 24.

In Madden 23, the player lock function was similar to this one, and the settings were not much different. So, if you are a  longtime fan of the Madden franchise, you might already be familiar with this option.

When you use the player lock option, you can focus on a single player and let the AI run the rest of the team for you. The player-locking choice is excellent if you want to escape from the intense game mode but still need to participate. It will make your involvement in the game lighter and more relaxed and allow you to enjoy it more.

However, turning the player lock option on or off in Madden 24 depends on your playstyle. So, you can use this option wisely to your advantage and get the most out of the game.
