Being found out as or just before you do something makes you a pretty made assassin in the world of Assassin’s Creed Mirage (AC Mirage). Your notoriety is what makes you more noticeable in public by those that you really don’t want noticing you, regardless of which game in the series you’re playing. If you’re hoping not to see posters of yourself plastered along the walls of Baghdad, then you’ll need to learn how to reduce your notoriety in AC Mirage and keep yourself hidden amongst the shadows.

Reducing your notoriety in AC Mirage is pretty easy, so long as you aren’t doing other things to raise it again. You can do either of the following to bring it down:

  • Tear down the wanted posters that appear.
    • You’ll see them as icons on your minimap.
  • Give a Munadi a Power Token.
    • Your notoriety will be immediately erased.

The wanted posters show up in the same places, so you’ll start to get the hang of where they are after the first time you gain notoriety. As for the Munadi, we recommend trying not to bribe them with Power Tokens because you can use those tokens to recruit assassins for other missions.

How To Increase Your Notoriety In Assassin’s Creed Mirage

As you do different things such as pickpocket and kill, you’ll need to be aware of those who might be watching. If anyone sees you, you will be thrown into one of three tiers of notoriety, each with their own consequences. These tiers can extend as you do other things with witnesses around:

  • First Tier
    • You’ll see wanted posters around town and civilians will begin to notice you a bit more.
  • Second Tier
    • You will need to be wary of guards who will now be able to easily detect you. Archers will also start appearing on rooftops and civilians are more likely to recognize you from the many wanted posters around town.
  • Third Tier
    • At this tier, you’ll be recognized by anyone you pass by and the number of wanted posters will increase significantly. The Elive Shakiriyya will also begin hunting you down at this point.

If you still need a bit of guidance, you can always follow this video by FP Good Game for a better understanding of how to lower your notoriety:
